Feel good about what it's doing

Created by A.G. on October 19, 2013

Dear Mr. President,

I am a student at Northwestern University applying to major in Creative Writing. I send this message for various reasons, partially, because I appreciate the work you do. I appreciate that you make the decisions no one else can, and I appreciate that you take criticism in stride, and most of all, I appreciate that you are a gentleman in general. You make a good role model for your fellow Americans.

I myself am not an American. I am a legal resident who has lived in the United States for the past thirteen years. I will apply for citizenship in the next 2 years. But, that is not why I send this message. I send this message, idealistically enough, because I believe in America and, subsequently, I believe in the Constitution. (letter continues)
