fight for the abolition of political parties within all forms of US government.

Created by B.P. on October 01, 2013

Partisan politics have been a part of American government since our Founding Fathers put ink to parchment. As time progressed, parties rose and fell; however, we still maintained a two-party system. This system maintained a utilitarian function, ensuring that the legislative process was slow, but they could still compromise and ensure that business could be accomplished with some geared towards the majority and the rest geared towards minorties. In light of recent events this system has been failing and the parties have become too polarized that elected officials have stopped listening to the people. Thus we should abolish political parties so that our elected officials will listen and remember that they are the party of the People, not whatever political part they identify with now.
