Joquinn Benjamin was charged with the principle of a crime when the person charged with the primary of the crime was found not guilty. Joquinn is guilty to a certain extent (he was the driver of a car when the person in the backseat of the car shot and killed someone) but he was not the shooter. There was witnesses to the crime also in the car and neither witness was call to testify on Joquinn's behalf. The public defender stated that one of the people already had a case open so there was no reason to subpena that person. The public defender told Joquinn that he looked like the type of person that would do something like this. I think that Joquinn was railroaded because his parents could not afford an attorney.
