I believe that sex-selective abortion should be illegal because this allows for discrimination against women. This is discrimination because many citizens choose to abort a female child due to gender. Many other countries across the globe also partake in this crime such as the UK and India. In an India 2011 census report, for every 1,000 boys there were 914 girls. The US should ban sex-selective abortion. This would allow for other countries to follow in our footsteps and continue the fight against discrimination. We, as US citizens, should fight against this crime and give justice to all of the innocent lives affected. With your help, the fight against sex-selective abortion will continue to grow. Thank you!
