We the people are FED UP with how both parties have lost sight of the fact that our political system is designed for compromise. We instead have a system of politics of the extremes, where neither side refuses to engage in civil discourse to find that middle ground.
Term limits will:
- Disempower political machines, wealthy special interests and reduce corruption.
- Reduce the urge to pander for votes for the next election.
- Bring a fresh perspective, encourage civility, and get this country moving forward again.
We don't need career politicians...we need people with real-world professional experience to serve as short-term politicians.
This is what our Founding Fathers wanted!
