Our "old growth" forests are in danger of being destructed by the timber industry; and the animals that thrive inside the forests as well! How does this issue affect you? With global change becoming more prevalent in society, the dangers of deforestation CAN and WILL affect our children & our children's children. Our greenhouse gas emissions are dependent on these forests. Less forests means more CO2 in our atmosphere. More CO2 means more health issues. Inside these forests also lives a little spotted owl who can only survive in old growth. Destructing the forest will destruct the owl. Let's take a stand against the timber industry and fight for the little owl who can't fight for himself!
