Studies have shown the connection between Nuvaring and blood clots like DVT, PE and Strokes. Serious injuries like this have killed and seriously injured women
Bayer the German manufacture of a similar product has given women from $150,000 to $800,000 for similar injuries and death.
In the latest Nuvaring settlement, Merck has announced a settlement suggesting 100 Million dollars as a settlement for all the injuries. This amounts to $58,000 if only 1,700 people are going to file claims. If 4,000 women are going to file a claim (more realistic number) average will be $25,000.
