The Violence Against Women Act is the most important legislation ever created to protect Americans who are victims of domestic violence. The law is hanging in the balance by politicians who are unwilling to recognize the needs and rights of certain minorities. It is critical for the protection of American women that the president end this stalemate and get this law renewed.
Mr. President, make VAWA a priority of 2013. This is not a question of politics: this is a question of protection and safety.
