WHEREAS, No child deserves to die;
WHEREAS, No parent deserves to lose a child, and no family deserves to have an empty seat at the dinner table;
WHEREAS, Schools should be a safe place for children; and
WHEREAS, Children should be defended while at school; be it
RESOLVED, President Obama should fight for the repeal of 18 U.S.C. 922(q), which repealed, would allow for teachers and their students to be better defended.
