fight to remove sales tax on food products at restaurants.

Created by S.D. on July 15, 2012

A 6 dollar burrito at a fast food restaurant has about 50 cents of sales tax added onto the bill. That adds up over time. It's outrageous that people have to pay tax on food. Deli's in supermarkets provide a service, but you don't have to pay tax on that food and that is not fair to all the other food businesses out there and to consumers.
