Hollingsworth v. Perry, challenging California's ban on Same Sex Marriage has the potential to be a landmark ruling by the Supreme Court. Although the federal government is not a party in this case, the opinion of the Solicitor General and the federal goverment would hold important sway with the justices. As such, we urge the White House and the Justice Department to file an Amicus Brief supporting the Freedom to Marry.
