File charges against the 3 U.S. Senators in violation of The Logan Act in attempting to undermine the President

On April 18th, 1985, United States Senators John Kerry and Tom Harkin committed a treasonous offense, as did Senator Edward Kennedy on May 14th, 1983 when they decided to violate the Logan Act, a 1799 law which forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments. Violation of the Logan Act is a felony, punishable under federal law with imprisonment of up to three years.
When the United States government was attempting to protect Nicaragua from Soviet backed takeover, and Europe from Soviet military aggression, Kerry and Harkin met with Nicaraguan Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega, and Kennedy issued a letter to Soviet leader Yuri Andropov, offering support to undermine the United States effort to prevent Soviet takeover of Nicaragua and attack of the European continent.
