It is absolutely inexcusable that LAPD officers opened fire on civilians during their hunt for Christopher Dorner in Torrance, CA. LAPD fired over 20 rounds at a vehicle that didn't even come close to matching the description of the suspect's vehicle. The officers provided no opportunity for the occupants of the vehicle to identify themselves before firing their weapons with intent to kill. Turns out the driver was a 71 year old woman delivering newspapers with her daughter. Not only is this a case of attempted murder of innocent civilians by LAPD officers, but also a case of reckless endangerment of the community as bullets ripped through nearby houses and vehicles. It's a miracle that in no innocent people were killed. These officers committed crimes and must be held accountable.
