A resident of Somers, NY repeatedly had a sign advocating the repeal of the New York S.A.F.E. Act stolen from his yard. After setting up a trail camera, the man caught a Somers, NY police officer trespassing and stealing the sign. This officer infringed upon the man's 1st Amendment right to free speech, 4th Amendment right against unreasonable seizure, and 5th Amendment right by depriving him of his property without due process of law. This man was merely supporting the 2nd Amendment and had his sign repeatedly stolen for obviously political reasons. This officer of the law, who swore to uphold the Constitution, stomped on it and MUST be held accountable.
