The 113th Congress has been the least productive Congress in the history of the United States. Whether it be issues involving healthcare, education, poverty, wages, infrastructure, etc. the 113th Congress has remained deadlocked on several issues, which in turn, hurts the economy and slows progress for an improved America.
Despite the lack of progress, Congress still gets paid and many members believe it is their right, even though they are not doing their jobs (ie: The Government shutdown in 2013). One member of Congress is so opposed to President Obama's executive orders that he is threatening to sue him.
The 113th Congress is standing in the way of progress in any form. It is our responsibility as American citizens to stand up for ourselves and let Congress know that this is not ok.
