The George W. Bush administration tortured prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay prison, and undoubtedly elsewhere, thereby breaking the Geneva Convention. Yet, no war criminal proceedings have been filed. If we don't hold war criminals accountable for their crimes, even if they're our own, we are no better than some third world dictatorship.
