We as citizens of the United States Petition the White House to come out publicly in favor of Senate Filibuster Reform.
After 4 years of gridlocked Congress we petition that the Senate alter filibuster rules in order to require any person wishing to filibuster must do so by standing on the floor and speaking the entire time.
While we believe the filibuster serves a real purpose we also believe that filibusters should be a last resort for actions of import not simply be used as a casual objection to all business.
By requiring someone to publicly stand and speak we preserve the usefulness of filibuster but require them to place themselves in the public eye for their stands.
