In light of the gun violence in Aurora, Oregon, Connecticut, Missouri and countless other places, we ask the Obama Administration to come up with comprehensive legislation that addresses the massive and glaring errors in gun laws.
Though the 2nd Amendment and the right to own guns is a valuable and important characteristic of American citizenship, and the 2nd Amendment itself has good intentions, what has occurred across the nation is unacceptable. It is time that we work to fix the oversight in these laws that have caused more harm than good.
Mr. President, since Congress has not acted, we ask your administration to do so.
