We ask President Obama to enact The 1923 Equal Rights Amendment into the Constitution.
The 1972 ERA Bills again sit in the Congress, after being passed and sent out to the States for ratification. The votes, rescinded after passing ERA, of 3 states is moot.
What a legacy for Americans to celebrate equal human rights!
This would recognize all women and men as equal citizens.
What a legacy this would be for the first black American President!
To finally grant equal rights to women would not only be an appropriate homage to all women but also the women activists who in 1863 conducted the largest petition drive, gathering 400,000 signatures, in support of the abolition of slavery.
What a legacy for you, to be part of the equal human rights movement!
Sign it.
Thank you.
