finally enact sensible, comprehensive, and common-sense laws regarding high-capacity pressure cookers.

Created by M.H. on April 16, 2013

Mr. President, now is the time for comprehensive laws to be passed to prevent more tragedies like the recent bombing of the Boston Marathon. We, the American people, demand a plan from Congress detailing how to prevent such senseless loss of life from happening again. Here are just a few steps we believe should be taken:

1. Mandatory registration of all pressure cookers.
2. A law limiting capacity of any pressure cookers produced from this day forward. Nobody needs more than 10 quarts for cooking purposes.
3. A law banning features which allow pressure cookers to be considered "Assault Cookers". No pressure cooker needs a semi-automatic self-locking feature.

We implore you, Mr. President, to prevent such tragedy from happening again.

Thank you.
