Finally fund a project to design and create the Superconducting Super Collider.

In the late 20th century, the US government aided a project to create the largest machine in the word, the Superconducting Super Collider. This project would be the most powerful particle acceleration in the world, surpassing the Large Hadron Collider by a large margin. However in 1993, the project was cancelled due to many budget cuts and bad press. Then in 2012, CERN discovered the last fundamental particle, the Higgs Boson. The United States is falling behind in the science community and I think we need to show the world we are still on top. We want to be the country that discovers the next huge thing.
