Wall Street and the banks got a bailout. The auto industry got a bailout and just about everyone got one except for the american homeowner. It's time for the government to take charge of this situation because the banks have proven incapable of helping struggling homeowners. We are not asking for a handout but just a simple refinance of our mortgages to lower fixed rates that are available today but we cannot take advantage of because they have tightened their rules!
