finally pardon this innocent Indian for a crime he did not commit. His only crime seems to be being an American Indian.

During the reign of terror on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in the early 1970 `ies, 2 FBI agents trespassed on Indian lands. Their reason to trespass was "stolen cowboy boots" . This sadly ended in a fatal shooting,killing those agents and an Indian,too .
Leonard Peltier was wrongfully convicted of this crime.
Evidence was fabricated, witnesses incl. M. Poor Bear were forced to falsely testify against Peltier,he was illegally extradited from Canada, thousands of documents which prove his innocence are being withheld.After 36 years, Leonard Peltier remains a political prisoner.
WHY ?
Haven`t the American Indians suffered enough ?
More than four centuries of dishonor and broken treaties towards a proud and dignified Nation must stop !
Freeing Peltier is the right thing to do !
