We request a ban on the sale and distribution of assault rifles in the United States. These weapons were designed to efficiently kill people; they are not useful for hunting or target practice. The only citizens that need these weapons are law enforcement and the military.
I own a gun and strongly support the Second Amendment, but we cannot continue to make a specious argument for the Constitutional protection to slaughter innocent human beings in this country, under the false claim that we have a right to possess a weapon that is designed to slaughter multiple lives in the most efficient manner available. This is NOT a right that is granted by the Constitution of the United States!
