In the United States, we are supposed to have a separation of church and state. However, many productive laws have been stopped in their tracks, simply because The Bible of one religion in this country would not approve. "In God We Trust" is still on our currency. The President swears on The Bible when inaugurated, and we must do so in court. Our tax dollars are paying for the salary of a chaplain in both the House and the Senate. The list goes on and on.
It is time this nation demanded reform, and did something to stop the government from going against what is truly constitutional. We have shown favoritism to one religion for hundreds of years, placing it above all others, and allowing its constituents to run our country with bias. It needs to stop!
