Find a better solution to Pay Songwriters and Artists royalties from music played on the internet

Mr. President,
Music artists are continually getting less or no royalties from the continuation of piracy and/or streaming music. Many of us do this work as a living. Without the writer there isn't any music to be created for enjoyment through internet. Music services are constantly making profit from people who access the music media without the work of the author getting its due. Could we please get the laws of sync rights to be re evaluated so that the future of the music business stays rightfully intact. Thank You
