While there are a vast majority of treatment options for patients with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis, there are hardly any FDA approved treatment options for patients diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS). People that suffer from PPMS struggle with their symptoms daily without any type of remission, and is a far more severe/progressed form of multiple sclerosis. This debilitating disease needs more attention because right now, they are overlooked.
