This is a proposition to pass legislation that would prevent doctors from receiving compensation for promoting medicine developed by pharmaceutical companies. By eliminating much of their manipulation, drug companies would be forced to work on finding new cures instead of focusing all their energy and resources on advertising and bribery. With this, doctors would also be able to focus on finding the optimal cures for people on a patient-to-patient basis rather than feeling pressured by pharmaceutical companies to prescribe specific drugs. The goal in mind is to eliminate much of the overprescribing and improper prescribing that happens every single day, which is causing both economic and medical dilemmas.
