Pass a law that would require insurance companies to provide supplemental coverage for abortion and birth control at affordable rates while removing the requirement that employers cover that portion of the health insurance.
If the goal is not to trample on people's first amendment rights by demanding that they violate their conscience, but is instead to ensure that those who want this coverage have it, this is an ideal compromise.
