Find justice for a Justina Pelletier! Linda and Lou Pelletier, Justina’s parents, are caught between a battle between doctors/hospitals and two medical diagnoses, causing them to lose custody of their daughter. I believe the courts need to appoint a third Doctor who specializes in mitochondrial disease and assess Justina Pelletier. Furthermore, laws need to be put in place protecting parents from medical abuse when they want a second opinion from another licensed doctor or hospital.
