The Veterans of this nation have sacrificed for us. Now when many of those Veterans are in need of help, they are subjected to a vast amount of time consuming paperwork, an overloaded VA system, and unacceptable delays in receiving response to their claims. These men and women did not delay when the nation needed their help. They stepped up and did their duty. It is time for the nation to step up. It is a national shame not to.
Our Veterans are suffering, financially and physically, while they wait for the bureaucracy to get to them. Many of these gallant warriors have passed away while waiting. That is unacceptable.
We ask the President to use all his political power to convince the Congress of the necessity to correct this deplorable condition and do it now!
Our warriors need us!
