It is imperative that we find Malaysian Airlines MH370 or its crash site before it is too late. The black box info is critical. Since it is looking less likely that the international community will find the location of the crash before the black box stops pinging, I suggest that we drop approximately 6000 floating battery devices powered GPS units distanced at approximately 36 sq miles (6mix6mi) distance from each other in a grid covering the suspected crash areas. Another ~1000 should be placed at alternate targets . Once any crash material hits any coast, we should be able mathematically derive the approximate location of the crash directly from the GPS data of the floating devices dropped in a grid throughout the ocean. Subs can then locate.
