find a money efficient way for grocery stores to calculate the amount of calories of food.

Created by W.Z. on February 12, 2013

The FDA is proposing that all grocery stores put the calorie counts on all foods that are not packaged. Although this is being proposed to help stop obesity, grocery stores are not in favor because of the financial burden. The equipment and effort needed to find the calorie counts of the foods will cause a large money deficit for many business owners. I'm proposing that once we find a money efficient way to count calories, then we can pass the law putting calorie counts on all not packaged foods.
