We believe there is a better agenda for business growth and enviromental protection than violations, fines and constant conflict. We need regulations set to an agreeable safe level that does not overly confine business. Then offer a half percent tax discount for every one percent reduction in pollution output. This gives a profit incentive to businesses to find ways to reduce pollution and generates a new manufactoring segment in our economy that will not require subsides to start product innovation.
