If we are truly to believe in the power of democracy, if we are ever to be "not enemies, but friends" with ALL nations, not just ourselves, then we must allow the world the opportunity to hear our demand for justice and present themselves on the side of "right makes might."
Hold Syrian government accountable.Strike their military targets.Do not strike civilians.Evacuate all non-essential personnel from our embassies within striking distance. But wait until we have convinced the world that we have proof that Syria used chemical weapons. In the meantime, very publicly do what it takes to get it.
I will sacrifice my life so that people in Syria can live free of fear of their own government, because a single tyrant anywhere threatens to inflict tyranny everywhere.
