POINTING OUT that the town of Shismaref OVERWHELMINGLY voted to relocate to Tin Creek, a nearby location away from the coast.
REQUESTING that further action than temporary sea walls that have already failed once be taken.
NOTING that the people Shishmaref filed a lawsuit against Exxon Mobile and other oil companies that was immediately dismissed by the Supreme Court, showing possible bias.
ALSO NOTING that the economy of nearby Nome, Alaska could greatly benefit from the peoples of Shishmaref collocating to said city.
ALSO REQUESTING that further involvement of the Army Corps. of Engineers be halted, and that the decisions for Shismaref's wellbeing, by made by Shismaref.
