In 2011 38,285 people committed suicide. This is more then 3 times the number of people murdered in the US in the same year. More then 60% of firearms deaths in the US are suicides. We the undersigned ask the administration to start considering serious ways to lower these heartbreaking numbers. Weather it be to secure funding to increase mental health aid and awareness, or increases suicide prevention programs. We ask this administration to do SOMETHING about this.
