If it costs the treasury 2 and 1/2 cents to make and distribute a penny,holes are being dug that takes an 8 mile drive to the bottom of it to get to it and thieves are stealing wiring from new construction homes and tubing going to church air conditioning units because of the prices paid at recycling facilities.Donate them to charity,put them in need a penny take a penny,save them and use Coinstar or just leave them at the retailer if you don't want them.
