This petition calls for the Federal Government to fine Walter Palmer $10,000,000.00 for the illegal hunting of "Cecil" the lion in Zimbabwe during July of 2015. Though detested on an international scale, Palmer will almost certainly face no consequences for his actions. In lieu of jail time or extradition, this petition calls for a hefty monetary fine to be issued to Palmer. Failure to pay, should incur jail time for Palmer in the United States. Monies garnered from Palmer should then be dispersed into the EPA and Fish and Wildlife Services.
