Finish the debate over the Redskin name once and for all by letting the people who it may slander vote upon it.

This petition is to once and for all put an end to the Redskin debate. Put it up to a vote that only involves Native Americans. If they vote that the term "Redskin" is offensive to them, then any entity that receives public funding on ANY level must change their name or lose said public funding. That shouldn't be an issue as so many people who believe it should not be changed should be able to foot the bill. This debate should not be decided by people it does not effect.
