It has been many years since the USDA recommended approval of rabies vaccination for wolves and wolf hybrids,

Public rabies eradication efforts for animals including wolves would benefit from the efficacy determination. With the proper conditions wolf hybrids make excellent pets and they are disadvantaged by the lack of certainty on the rabies vaccination issue as well. We need to do the research and finish the public policy based upon the science
