We the people of New York were forced to u dergo serious and bizarre weather conditions. For the children, we had to make it through the blizzard risking our lives, for the parents, they had to risk their lives to send their children to school. Why? Because Chancellor Carmen Farina compared our prestigious New York Public School system to Macy's and stated that public school were some kids only source of hot lunch. Does it make sense to send kids through life endangering situations for one day's worth of lunch? For the sake of children and parents of New York's education system, please, we need a chancellor with the people's thought in mind, not money.
