We the people demand that Charlie Rangel be fired for the use of a racial slur. In a recent interview he was quoted saying, "It is the same group we faced in the South with those white crackers and the dogs and the police. ... If you have to bomb little kids and send dogs out against human beings, give me a break.".
Our society has crucified Paula Deen for something she has said over 27 years ago. This man is no different and should be treated the same way. Racism is a 2-way street and it's time someone hold them accountable for their remarks as well.
