The recent statements Eric Holder has made, one claiming that some banks are too big to prosecute, and another claiming it would be legal to use military force to kill an American citizen on U.S. soil without due process, have made it clear that he lacks both the competence and ethics required to fill the role of attorney general. He should be fired and replaced with somebody better suited for the position immediately.
The damage he does if he is not removed from office will be felt for decades because, as a democrat, he gives future republican administrations cover to be as authoritarian regarding civil liberties, and as passive regarding bank fraud as they want, while still being able to hide under the guise of bipartisanship.
