On Aug. 5, 1981, President Ronald Reagan fired 11,345 air traffic controllers after they walked off the job two days earlier.
The same should hold true for our government. It is outrageous hypocrisy that some of our politicians are threatening to walk off on their responsibilities yet still expect to be paid while doing nothing.
Demand that any politician who votes in favor of a government shutdown receive the same treatment that the air traffic controllers got in 1981.
FIRE THE REAL FREELOADERS!
Replace our good-for-nothing politicians with newly-elected replacements who will do the job they were voted in to do!
