Fire FBI Director James Comey

Created by J.D. on December 10, 2016

With his well-publicized letter of October 28, 2016, FBI Director James Comey interfered in the election, contrary to FBI policy and tradition. Regardless of whether or not there is actual proof of damage to Clinton's chances, Comey’s action was extremely one-sided; it has diminished the standing of the FBI in the eyes of many Americans.

Now we learn the FBI was aware of Russia's interference in our election long before Nov 8th. Comey did not reveal this fact before the election, nor did he reveal whether or not the FBI was investigating the possible existence and extent of Trump’s ties to Russia, and any relevant findings.

Comey is clearly a Trump partisan at best, or, an unwitting Russian agent at worst. Either way he must be fired to restore the FBI's credibility.
