President Obama, you appointed Tom Wheeler to be Chairman of the FCC with many kind words spoken about upholding net neutrality, preventing ISPs from picking winners and losers, and stopping the creation of 2nd class citizens online.
But you knew Wheeler was a lobbyist for the cable industry before you named him FCC Chairman. Apparently his primary objective is what he just announced, the gutting of Net Neutrality. Obviously the per-case review provisions Wheeler cites to defend this ISP giveaway with will be for show at first, and then non-existent. Self-regulation has never worked, and never will.
Tom Wheeler is corrupt, and he just proved it. Don't allow cable lobbyists to make most Americans into 2nd class citizens online.
You promised better than this. Keep your word, fire Wheeler.
