James Clapper did willingly provide false testimony to the United States Congress and Sen. Feinstein. "The director of national intelligence, James Clapper, said in an NBC interview that he had responded in the "least untruthful manner" possible when he denied in congressional hearings last year that the NSA collected data on millions of Americans (The Guardian, June 10, 2013). Dir. Clapper has violated his official mandate and also the Constitution of the United States and at the very least he should lose his job effective immediately. At the worst, he should be subject to Federal Prosecution to the fullest extent of the Law. The American people will not stand idly by as their civil rights and privacy is violated by a clandestine Federal entity operating in the gray area of authority.
