Joe Marciano has been the Special Teams coordinator since the inception of the Houston Texans franchise. During his tenure, he's fielded a few good special teams units, but the group has really fallen off the last few years. Penalties, bad blocking, and horrible lane assignments are his trademarks.
Joe is also responsible for the drafting of the NFL's worst kicker this season, Randy Bullock.
Many players who Marciano tried and failed to coach have been cut. Coincidentally, they've gone on to become great returners for other teams. Trindon Holliday and Jacoby Jones come to mind.
Please, fire Joe Marciano. It's painful to watch the group he coaches. Houston Texans fans deserve better. We've endured his awful coaching for 12 years now.
