It is now clear that the CIA violated the Constitution's separation of powers by spying on Congress as it investigated CIA activities in the Iraq war. It is further clear that John Brennan lied to Congress about both. Powerful agencies like the CIA that have extraordinary power and operate under significant cover of secrecy must be held to the highest standards of behavior. Please make it clear to the CIA and to the people of the United States that the CIA is not above the law by firing John Brennan and asking the Attorney General to conduct a thorough and open investigation of all CIA activity related to torture, to the obstruction of justice in prior investigations of torture and in misdeeds related to spying on and lying to Congress
